Die Ästhetik der japanischen Zeichenwelt und Takashi Murakamis „Superflat Manifesto“, in dem er das Phänomen der ‚Super-Flachheit‘ in den Wurzeln der japanischen Kulturgeschichte sucht, sind Inspiration für dieses gemeinsame Werk mit dem Komponisten Udo Moll. Die Musik tritt in Wechselwirkung zu einer Videoarbeit, die gekennzeichnet ist durch ein wechselvolles Spiel zwischen Schwarz und Weiß, Licht und Schatten, Struktur und Überlagerung. „Superflat“ greift das Zweidimensionale auf und spielt mit analogen Techniken, einer monochromatischen Instrumentalbesetzung und einer architektonisch gedachten Videoprojektion.
